Is there a shop minimum?
Each artist sets their own minimum, but if you've gotta ask, we're not the shop for you. We pride ourselves in being experienced and skilled so if you're looking for the cheapest tattoo ever, you won't find it here.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes! We take walk ins, but recommend you try to set an appointment if you want to make sure you'll have time to get your tattoo, especially if you are looking for a larger piece or are part of a group.
How old do I have to be?
In the state of Tennessee you must be 18 years old or older to get a tattoo. There are no parental or legal guardian exceptions, you must be 18 and bring your valid ID with you to your appointment.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive to your appointment with your ID and stay hydrated. If you want to bring a soda, juice or other hydrating beverage to have on hand this can be helpful just in case you start to feel light headed, which happens to some people. It is also best to not drink the night before or prior to your tattoo. Alcohol in your system can increase bleeding, which may affect the tattooing and healing process.
How do I care for my tattoo?
After your tattoo appointment is complete, check with your artist for any specific recommended care instructions, as some wraps (cling wrap vs. adhesive) have differing instructions.
When cleaning your tattoo always wash your hands before cleaning with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply a thin layer of ointment or unscented lotion.
Things to avoid:
-
direct sunlight
-
dirty hands or surfaces
-
sitting/swimming in water (pools, lakes, rivers, oceans, hot tubs, bathtubs, etc.)
It takes at least two(2) weeks for a tattoo to heal, but it can take longer for the skin to fully regenerate.
Who can I bring with me to my appointment?
Please do NOT bring children to the studio. A tattoo studio is an over 18 establishment for clients and guests.
Where do I park?
There is a free parking lot at our shop that is shared with the other businesses in Emery Commons.
